Kitty-Cam has been running nearly continuously since April, 2003. Two cameras are set up in our house aimed where the cats are most often found.

Camera 1 looks down upon the bay window that faces the street. A large bird feeder is in front of this window, however, the birds remain uninterested in it.

Camera 2 provides a bird's eye view of the cats from their cat stand in the upstairs office. The cats have a view of the street below and when the window is open, passerbys are often caught off guard as the cats meow at them.

these cats are sooo adorable :]

I had my favorite kitty die last May. She was 14 years old. I still really miss her. She snuggled with me through both my parents deaths and a divorce. She was always the constant thing in my life when life was in turmoil. Even though it has been over a couple months, I still think that I see her out of the corner of my eye now and then. Cats are precious. Thanks for the great website.

I'm sorry for your loss. We just had to have one of ours put to sleep, and it really is hard. We keep expecting to see him in his favorite spots.

Is that N-Man on Cam 1?

It probably was. He's taken quite a liking to the kitty-condo we placed on Cam 1. He stands tall on it keeping watch on the neighborhood.

I believe cleo's mom caught the image you are referring to because she added one from that time frame to the Best Of collection.

The software that runs Kitty-Cam has been upgraded and it has been given just a slight new look. Some content is missing or is no longer easily accessible. Give us time while we bring everything back.

They remind me of my cats, the only difference being that mine don't get along, so would never lie so close to each other.

I am new reader of your site but one thing i realize one thing that the way you plot the matter in your post that is amazing i am appreciating that. Add me a feedback reader.
Keep it up.
Thanks

The main Problem is where to aim the cam. Also, unlike puppies, the cats aren't as active and you'd probably just be watching them sleep!

it's hard to see Domino anymore because something got rearranged on the right side of the window where he was stationed for a long time. Now he's behind the "nest" way on the left and off-camera (you can see a piece of him). could someone fix that so he goes back? I look forward to seeing him everyday. I'm not only a kitty-cam junkie but a Domino junkie too apparently :-D thanks, val. p.s. I posted this someplace else too, sorry.

No live feed. After the popularity of that puppy cam, I gotta admit, I've thought about it. Problem is where to aim the cam. Also, unlike puppies, the cats aren't as active and you'd probably just be watching them sleep!

Jim has been wanting to do something different with the cams anyway because the way it is set up now, we need a computer dedicated to each of them. With different cameras, that may no longer be required. I'll bring it up to him.

Is there a live feed of the cats?
