Domino was adopted from the Humane Society in October, 2003. We felt we had room in our home and hearts for another cat. We wanted our next cat to come from the Humane Society in order to help alleviate the over crowding of cats that they experience there. Domino is a very easy going cat and wants to get along with everyone. He has also proven himself to be very photogenic on the cameras and has been seen there at all different hours. DOB: 2000. Weight: ~16 lbs.

While at work in September of 2001, the person who works on our phone system came in with 3 cats from his rural home. Two were small kittens and then there was Finnegan who was about 5 months old at the time. Because Finnegan was well on his way to becoming an adult cat, I was told he was going to be put down if a new home wasn't found soon. How could I say no to him? I took him on the spot and we have never regretted it. Finnegan tends to be a little nervous at home, but remains our vet's favorite cat out of the four for his ability to calmly take the shots and general poking and prodding. I will always remember when he joined us because I can never forget listening to the September 11 reports in the car as we took him to his vet appointments. DOB: 2001. Weight: ~16 lbs. Nickname: Finny-Boy.

Neo joined us from our local Humane Society in December, 2010 shortly after Zoey passed away. Neo is a beautiful male gray tabby. The tip of Neo's left ear was clipped when we adopted him. We were informed that he was either a catch and release and therefore marked or he had been in a fight.
Neo has integrated well with Stormy, Finnegan and Domino, but remains wary of strange people. He continues to get more comfortable on our laps, but often prefers being a little out of reach. DOB: 2008. Weight: 10 lbs. Nickname: New Boy.

In late 1998, I wanted to help the over crowded cat rescue organizations by fostering a cat. What started as a temporary arrangement with Stormy soon became permanent when I was unable to contact that organization to return her prior to an upcoming vacation. By then, we had become thoroughly attached to Stormy and were happy to welcome her to our house. Stormy was the name given to her by the cat organization and to this day it still fits her wild personality. DOB: 1997. Weight: ~8 lbs. Nicknames: Baby, Evil.

Zoey joined us in June of 1996 shortly after we purchased our house. Zoey was a former farm cat. Her owner ran a dog grooming business and because Zoey was so outwardly friendly to the dogs, her prior owner feared Zoey may someday be hurt by an unfriendly dog so she was in search of a new home for her. Zoey was such a wonderful cat those first few years that we were in no hurry to get a 2nd cat as we didn't want to risk changing what we thought was the perfect situation. Zoey never had a clear name on the farm. Given her beautiful colors and demeanor, the name Zoey fit well. Zoey has become a bit fussy in later years, and introducing in new cats in the house perhaps helped bring that on. Zoey is also credited for making Jim a true cat lover. DOB: 1995. Weight: ~7 lbs.

Zoey passed away on Thanksgiving day, November 25, 2010.
